Q: Do you deliver to oversea?

A: No, we deliver our products in NZ only.

 

Q: How much the shipping cost?

A: The website will automatic calculate your shipping cost, once product add to cart.

 

Q: How long it takes to receive my order?

A: In general, your order will be dispatched in 1 to 2 working days once the payment received. Please notice working days are not including Saturday and Sunday.

Shipping takes 1-2 business days to North Island, 2-3 working days to far North.

2-3 working days to South Island, 3 days to lower South Island,

plus an additional 1-3 working days for rural area  (in some areas (suburbs) that Toll courier may contract Courierpost for the delivery). 

Overnight delivery for Wellington region and  Palmerston North city. 

Please notice the latest dispatch time for North Island is Thursday at 12pm, South Island is Wednesday at 12pm.

Payment and order received after this time, will be dispatched on following Monday. 

 

Q: When orchid plants will be available?

A: Cymbidium orchids are available from May to November, peak season in August/September. Phalaenopsis orchids are available from September to April. Slipper orchids are available from June to Oct.

 

Q: Can I receive a compensation if my order not arrived on time?

A: We are working as fast as we can to get your order delivered. Normally, your order will be dispatched in 1 or 2 working days once the payment received. Please refer the delivery time frames above. Unfortunately, we will not compensate if the order delivered in the time frames.

To avoid disappointment and unnecessary anxiety, please read delivery time frames above carefully, before you place an order. 

 

Q: What size the plant and are they in blooms?

A: Most of our Cymbidium orchid plants are in 2 L pots, 4 years old plants, with 3 bulbs to 5 bulbs. Yes, all our plants you are buying come with either in bud, or blooms.  The plant is about 60 cm to 80 cm tall. 

 

Q: Would be in a good condition when I receive my plant?

A: We pack our plants carefully in cellophane sleeve to protect the flower spikes, then wrap the whole plant in a corrugated cardboard. So orchid should arrive in a reasonable condition.

In the rare case your plant has suffered severe damage on its journey please keep your plant inside the packaging it arrived in and reseal. Contact us within two working days with photos of the damaged plant in its packaging (before resealing) so we can lodge a claim with our courier provider and organise for your plant to be returned, and replacement or refund provided.

Please notice, we will not refund the shipping cost. 

 

Q: How often should I water my orchid plant?

A: In general, water once a week in Winter, twice a week in Spring/ Autumn, three times or every day in hot Summer months. Don’t too afraid to water Cymbidium orchids, more water and feed you give to your orchid in WARMER MONTHS, the faster your plants will grow.  For details growing instructions for Cymbidium orchid, Phalaenopsis orchid and Slipper orchid please check out ‘How to grow your orchids’.
